30+ years of experience. And a deep respect for fire.
Dan is a fully trained, experienced chimney sweep with £1 million public liability insurance and a full CRB police check. Based in Gatley, Stockport, and covering Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.
"I spent over thirty years in the fire service. In that time I saw first-hand what happens when a chimney isn't looked after — flue fires, smoke damage, and worse. That's why I do this job the way I do it: properly, thoroughly, and with real care for your home and your family's safety."
"When I sweep your chimney, I treat it like it's my own. I take my time, I keep everything spotless, and I'll always tell you honestly what I see. If it doesn't need doing, I'll say so."
— Dan, owner of Chimney Man Dan
